Foraged badger vertebrae dread beads

Real badger bone vertebrae has been foraged in my local woodland area, cleaned and treated carefully to ensure no animal residue remain.

Adorned with brass beads, polished garnet chips and chain.

Due to the handmade nature of these beads, they should be removed before washing, and avoid the use of soap, oils and harsh chemicals as it can damage the bone structure as well as damaging the plating of the metal used.

If worn in the hair for long periods of time, the natural hair oils will change the colour of the beads to a light brown. This does not damage the bone itself, but will give it more of an 'aged' effect.
