What is Lokta paper?
Lokta paper is a fibrous pulped bark paper handmade in Nepal. As thin as it feels, it is durable and easy to draw on, but requires skill to make sure the ink absorbs properly and doesn't run on its unusual surface. It makes for a very delicate and somewhat rustic looking painting which lends itself well to the delicate and detailed look of a mandala.

Finished black ink, white ink and gold chrome ink. This piece is sure to catch the sunlight from all angles.
